Help The Well at the Tree Streets Yard Sale!
This year, The Well is participating in the annual Tree Streets Yard Sale on August 16th.
Donate your unwanted items (no clothes please!) for us to sell, donate your time to help work the yard sale or come be a customer at the yard sale on Saturday. All proceeds from the yard sale will be applied directly to The Well’s operational budget.
To donate items:
The Well will be accepting donated items at The Well House located on ETSU's campus at 910 W. Maple Street. Such items can include furniture, books, lamps, linens, DVDs, kitchen gadgets, children's toys, baby items, children's clothing, etc. (We ask that no clothing except for baby and children's clothing be donated.) Please make sure all donated items are clean (and priced, if possible).
Items can be dropped off at the following times:
Saturday (August 9) from 10 am to 3pm
Monday(August 11)-Friday (August 15) from 9 am to 8 pm
*If other drop-off times are needed, please call 232-9355.
To volunteer your time:
Friday, August 15th - Beginning at 10am, we will be sorting, pricing & displaying the yard sale items around the property of The Well House. If you are willing and able to help with this process, contact Leslie at 232-9355 or by e-mail at leslie.raby@gmail.com.
Saturday, August 16th - Beginning at 6am, we will be involved with last-minute preparations for the yard sale. At the start of the sale, we will need volunteers to talk with shoppers, to serve as cashiers, to straighten tables and to assist customers to their cars with their purchases. If you are willing and able to help on Saturday, contact Leslie at 232-9355 or by e-mail at leslie.raby@gmail.com.
To shop at the yard sale:
Bring folks with you to rummage through the yard sale treasures. Beginning at 7am on Saturday, August 16th, lots of items at a great bargain will be available to you. If you aren't an early bird, come later in the day; we'll save some good treasures for you.
